To actively respond to the climate change crisis, LIG Nex1 pursues the HSE (health, safety, and
environment) policy as its top priority and is doing its best to practice sustainable management.
We regard HSE as related to all of our stakeholders, including our executives and employees, partner companies, customers, and local communities, as a top priority of business and implement practices for sustainable management.

Establishment of accident-free workplaces
We build a safe work environment with workers, management, and partner companies cooperating in carrying out proactive preventive activities to eliminate hazard and risk factors.

We protect workplace and local community environments through systematic management of environmental pollutants and continued efforts to achieve carbon neutrality.

We accomplish human-centered, health-friendly workplaces by creating a pleasant work environment, pursuing the prevention of various diseases, and promoting health activities.

Establishment of the HSE management system
We operate an optimal management system by defining HSE goals, developing plans to accomplish them, and carrying out regular monitoring and improvement measures.
We operate our systems through continued improvements to help our employees concentrate on work in a safer and more convenient environment.
We regularly carry out contribution activities for environmental protection in local communities, such as river purification activities and creating flower lanes. We also actively engage in local activities including the removal of bur cucumbers and reduction of fine dusts.
We contribute to improving water quality in the Nakdonggang River and providing more pleasant environments to local residents through waste removal and eliminating invasive alien plants.
There are a variety of informal groups within the company working for the protection of local natural environments.
