LIG donated a development fund to the Korea Football Association for the Disabled in commemoration of the Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The donation ceremony was conducted on the 18th at LIG Headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul, where LIG Representative Director Choi Yong-jun, President of the Korea Football Association for the Disabled Kim Ki-hwan, and KB Insurance Executive Director Oh Byung-ju were present.
LIG has been sponsoring the Korea Football Association for the Disabled with its affiliates, including LIG Nex1, Huseco, and Innowireless, since 2007. KB Insurance has participated in the fundraising since 2022 and has donated 20 million won for two years in a row. This year’s total donation added up to 180 million won.
The donation will be used to support physical fitness training for the national para-football team and to train domestic and foreign experts.
LIG Representative Director Choi Yong-jun said, “We hope we can help the para-football team grow further, and we will continue to support the team.” LIG is leading ESG governance through various social contribution activities, including supporting low-income national patriots and veterans, medically vulnerable people, and young adults preparing for independence.
