Foreign exchange cadets at Korea Military Academy visit LIG Nex1’s Gumi House 2025.05.23

Foreign exchange cadets training at the Korea Military Academy visited LIG Nex1’s Gumi House (CEO: Shin Ick-hyun) and had a memorable time touring the very site where Korean defense systems are produced.
At present, many cadets from a number of friendly nations are training at Korean military academies, and this is viewed as helping to cultivate global mindsets of future military leaders and promote the foundation for military diplomacy.
Among this year’s visitors were cadets from more than 10 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Thailand, and the Philippines. The visitors toured key defense industry facilities and were briefed on the current status of weapons system development.
The recent program was held as part of the International Week events of the academy, organized to facilitate international exchange among cadets from different countries and enhance their experiences of Korean defense and culture.

LIG Nex1 previously donated KRW 10,000,000 to the academy to support the promotion of international exchange among military cadets.
