LIG Nex1 (CEO: Shin Ick-hyun) visited Seoul National Cemetery on Monday, May 26 to pay tribute to the spirits of fallen heroes and patriotic martyrs and also offer cleaning services.
The event was organized to ensure a clean and tidy cemetery environment for visitors who will visit during the Month of Patriots and Veterans.
Executives and employees of LIG Nex1, including CEO Shin Ick-hyun and new employees, took part in volunteer activities such as replacing flowers, erecting the national flag, and cleaning gravestones.
The company has regularly held volunteer activities ever since 2010, when it became the first domestic defense business to establish an affiliation with Seoul National Cemetery for its 30th grave district.
It maintains a special relationship with the cemetery by also holding new year’s kick-off meetings and memorial events there each year.
Based on the memorial events and volunteer activities at the cemetery, LIG Nex1 hopes to develop a corporate culture suited for the defense business,
contributing to independent national defense through the development of cutting-edge domestic weapons systems.
