LIG Nex1 is participating in the international defense exhibition ‘Indo Defence,’ held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from June 11 to 15.
At the exhibition, the company will showcase strategic export weapons such as the M-SAM II mid-range surface-to-air missile, the Raybolt anti-tank missile,
and the KP-SAM portable surface-to-air missile in an effort to contribute to the modernization of the Indonesian military.
It will set up a booth highlighting ‘Team Korea’ in collaboration with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) as well as a joint exhibition hall with five companies from the partner consortium ‘A1 Society,’
further solidifying its stature as a leading K-defense company.
LIG Nex1 started exporting the PRC-999K frequency-hopping radio to Indonesia in 2006 and has regularly participated in Indo Defence, the country’s largest comprehensive defense exhibition, since 2008.
The company has been working on expanding its export market in Southeast Asia by establishing an Indonesian office in 2013 and providing numerous communication devices and systems to the Indonesian military and police,
including a trunked radio system in 2020. Indo Defence has been held biennially since 2004, and this year it is being organized for the tenth time following the cancellation of the 2020 event due to COVID-19.
