LIG Participates in ‘Seoul Summer Beach’ to Commemorate the 80th Anniversary of National Liberation

LIG participated in the “2025 Seoul Summer Beach: Let’s Dive into Gwangbok” event held at Gwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul.
Established as one of Seoul's premier summer festivals, “2025 Seoul Summer Beach” is hosted by the Seoul Tourism Organization under the Seoul Metropolitan Government and
co-organized by the Seoul Tourism Organization and the Seoul Regional Office of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.
This year's event was held to commemorate the 80th anniversary of liberation and reflect on the meaning of patriotic devotion. The event runs until the 8th of this month.
The festival’s slogan, “Let's Dive Into Gwangbok,” shares its initials with LIG, creating a link that inspired the company’s participation.
As a defense company championing “self-reliant national defense,”
participation holds significance in conveying the spirit of national defense and patriotic devotion preserved by our ancestors to the younger generation in an approachable way.
The “Water Beach Zone” is decorated with LIG's mascot, “Swoni,” and features a large pool and water slide set up behind the King Sejong statue.
The “Sand Beach Zone” offers a resort-like atmosphere in the heart of Seoul, and the “Flea Market Zone” allows visitors to enjoy drinks and shaved ice.
All the zones serve as cool retreats for citizens during the heatwave.
The “Onederland Plaza” features various depictions of “Swoni” and LIG Nex1's flagship products transformed into characters.
It offers visitors small pleasures and memorable moments through a roulette game and souvenirs.
