· Sharing of memorable moments and expressing gratitude for employees and family members in a good example of ‘family-friendly management’

LIG Nex1 (CEO: Shin Ick-hyun) continues and expands its family-friendly management activities to promote communication with employees and build sound corporate culture.
From October 24 to 26, the company invited around 230 employees and family members for the Halloween Camp event in Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do. A variety of activities such as a disguise contest, chestnut collecting, and dalgona candy making were offered for participants to share memorable moments. LIG Nex1’s special camping program is held twice a year, in spring and fall. Family members can connect with one another and recharge in nature.

Also in October, the Family Day event was organized in the company’s Gumi House with over 750 employees, spouses, and children. Starting with CEO Shin’s welcome address, numerous programs were offered including an introduction to the company, viewing of exhibits, and experience activities for all family members such as a magic show, sketch wall, water rockets, and sticker painting.
This year, the company also held programs such as:
- ‘Letters to Parents,’ sending carnations and a CEO’s letter to employees’ parents
- ‘Movie Day,’ enjoying the latest movies with loved ones, including family and friends
- Spring ‘Family Day’ camping for family members
- ‘Healing Day’

LIG Nex1 has practiced family-friendly management to create a happy workplace and a harmonious organizational culture since 2011 through varied events held in different establishments.
Family invitation events have settled down as a major part of its corporate culture, enhancing the understanding of family members about the company and enabling them to experience its vision and organizational culture based on the ‘family-friendly’ management philosophy of LIG Nex1.
A company official said, “We hope that these events will provide a meaningful occasion for family members to create precious memories at the company in this beautiful season of fall. We will continue to promote a pleasant and healthy organizational culture in the future.”
