LIG Nex1 operates a governance structure consisting of the ESG Committee within the Board of Directors and an executive-level ESG Working Group.
Established in 2023, the ESG Committee meets at least four times a year to deliberate and approve key ESG matters, such as environment, CSR, compliance, and information security.
The ESG Working Group, the company’s corporate-level working team driving ESG execution, shares corporate-level goals and performance, plans and manages ESG tasks at the corporate level, and strengthens collaboration across all departments.

  • ESG Committee The ESG Committee under the Board of Directors develops ESG strategies and policies and continuously monitors their implementation status.
  • ESG Working Group Composed of executives and working-level staff from the three pillars: Environmental (E), Social (S), and Governance(G).
  • Environment Addresses environment-related issues, including climate change, waste, pollutants, and natural capital.
  • Social Manages overall corporate operations, including human rights, talent nurturing, organizational culture, information security, and supply chain management.
  • Governance Ensures transparent governance and leads compliance and ethical management.
ESG Working Group
Composition
  • • Chair: Head of Future Strategy Division
  • • Project Manager: Head of Communication Division
  • • Participating organizations: Key functions including Safety and Environment, Human Resources, and Investor Relations
  • • Roles & Responsibilities :
    • - Identify improvement opportunities for non-financial risks, including net-zero and climate change issues, and perform due diligence.
    • - Review potential non-financial risk factors.
  • • Operating frequency: Regular (once a year) plus ad hoc (as needed)
Activities
  • • Develop the ESG vision and strategies and identify strategic initiatives.
  • • Cooperate seamlessly across segregated functions, such as environmental management, safety and health, human rights, supply chain management, and information security.
  • • Manage detail-level risks strategically by collecting risk management data, assessing and analyzing impact, and identifying key issues and formulating response plans.
  • • Report ESG activities and outcomes to executive leadership, the ESG Committee, and the Board of Directors.
