LIG Nex1 chosen among ‘2025 Korea’s Best Work-Life Balance Companies’

LIG Nex1 (CEO: Shin Ick-hyun) was selected as one of the ‘2025 Korea’s Best Work-Life Balance Companies’ by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The ministry annually selects the country’s best work-life balance companies. This promotes a culture of work-life balance for workers through institutional support by awarding companies that have established healthy and productive working environments.
The selection is made through quantitative and qualitative evaluation of domestic companies based on such criteria as flexible working arrangements and welfare programs. This year marks the second time that the ministry has awarded the best work-life balance companies; a total of 183 companies received the 2025 awards.
LIG Nex1 was honored by being awarded in the category of ‘flexible working arrangements’ in this year’s award ceremony.
The company was highly recognized for continuous support for work-life balance of employees through its flexible start system, which allows employees autonomy and balanced lifestyles, family-friendly systems, and activities for work culture improvement.
LIG Nex1 maintains various welfare programs aimed at building family-friendly management and sound corporate culture.
The company operates in-company childcare centers in its Pangyo, Yongin, and Gumi establishments, and offers child support programs customized for different development stages including cash gifts for school entrance from kindergarten to high school and college tuition support. The excellence of the company’s welfare programs and family-friendly management has been acknowledged since 2017 through its certification as one of the ‘family-friendly companies’ by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
In addition, LIG Nex1 continues to boost work efficiency and productivity. It supports this through the ‘L-Fresh Holiday Program,’ which helps employees recharge and pursue self-development, and ‘Family Day’ which invites family members to spend quality time together.
