  • Short-Range Terrain Sensing Technology is a technology to detect and track multiple mobile objects in front of a vehicle required for the future ground unmanned systems. Through the use of FMCW radar, this all-weather terrain sensing technology detects and tracks mobile objects in front of a vehicle even in fog and smoke environments, autonomously setting the driving path of unmanned vehicles to prevent collision.

This can be used for monitoring the barbed wire fences along the Military Demarcation Line and coastal lines. By deploying sensor nodes, the limitations of the existing surveillance system are complemented and the quality of surveillance and reconnaissance operations is guaranteed.

  • PUGV is a portable surveillance and reconnaissance robot that an individual soldier can carry and operate, capable of conducting surveillance missions in dangerous environments day and night and removing and manipulating hazardous materials (EOD: explosive ordnance disposal). Designed to overcome obstacles such as stairs, slope or gravel, PUGV is a lightweight portable robot that is reduced in size to allow easier handling by users. It has convenient operation functions allowing it to return autonomously and drive semi-autonomously and to perform tasks in stable posture and it also has a multi-joint manipulator, all of which are developed by LIG Nex1’s technologies.
